Design and updating of spaces

Ilunion San Mamés is a four-star urban hotel with 168 rooms, six of which have been designed to be fully accessible for the needs of people with reduced mobility. The bedrooms have articulated beds and adapted elements, such as accessible telephones, contrasting switches, flanged bedside tables, wireless cell phone chargers and courtesy light switches, among others. The room numbers are backlit and are identified in Braille at the bottom, as are the rest of the hotel’s signage.

We carried out a redistribution of the different areas of the building, updating all the spaces and providing them with greater functionality. We sought to create a modern and accessible space, combining metals with wood, highlighting gray, ocher and brown tones. The hotel also has technical aids such as magnetic loop, fire alarm with sound signals, counter suitable for serving customers with reduced mobility, adapted furniture, contrasted sections in the staircase areas to facilitate its location for visually impaired people, etc.

As the Technical Department of Ilunion Hotels, we develop all the projects and carry out the Project Management of the refurbishment and new construction works of each hotel of the chain.
