Modernised colonial style and cosy design

We are carrying out the Interior Design Project of a luxury resort in Porto Santo Island, Portugal. ALG (Apple Leasure Group) will be in charge of the operational management of the resort integrated in a new global portfolio of all-inclusive luxury resort brands.

The resort hotel will open in 2024 and is inspired by the combination of cultures present on the island and its privileged natural environment. The luxury resort will have 366 rooms, 14 different dining areas, meeting rooms, spa (3,000m2), a keed&teens area and outdoor areas with swimming pools, outdoor cinema and water park.

The spaces are designed with high ceilings, noble materials such as wood and marble, large arches and wrought iron elements, providing a sense of luxury and warmth reminiscent of the colonial style.

In relation to the restaurant areas, the resort will have an Asian restaurant with its own personality, where cherry red elements stand out, creating a warm and nocturnal atmosphere. The Coco Café is conceived as a quiet space, with a calm and welcoming design, introducing the green of the island through the vegetation on the bar and the ceramic cladding, bringing freshness to the space.

Inside the Seaside Gril you will be able to appreciate light atmospheres with soft tones. The World Café has a large interior lounge with high, decorated ceilings, indirect lighting and a covered terrace, and in the Preferred Longue there is a sense of calm and comfort.

Finally, for the rooms we find a wide variety of formats such as the superior room, the master suite, suites, standard room queen, suite +, luxury villa, master suite… All of them are designed as sophisticated places with WOW points that help to make the design appealing to everyone.
